Dr. Truong Son Nguyen is a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine and board-certified Family Medicine physician based in California. He has worked in both traditional primary care and urgent care environments, gaining broad experience in managing acute conditions, chronic disease, and preventive health.

Throughout his career, Dr. Nguyen recognized the growing challenges within conventional healthcare—limited time with patients, administrative burdens, and a system that often prioritizes volume over quality. These experiences led him to establish Walnut Health Direct Primary Care Medical Clinic.

At Walnut Health, Dr. Nguyen practices medicine through the Direct Primary Care model, integrating primary care, urgent care, and preventive services into a streamlined, patient-first approach. This model allows him to spend more time with patients, build lasting relationships, and provide care that is thoughtful, accessible, and personalized.
